Tactical Shotgun Grips FAQs

Q: How do I attach the TacSling to this?
A: These have a built in loop to install the sling on the rear grip. For the front we recommend the Barrel/Magazine Clamp and Quick Detachable Swivel.

Q: Are these difficult to install and are there special tools required?
A: All necessary mounting hardware is provided for the rear pistol grips. Only a hex key is needed to install the rear grips. Forends will require some basic disassembly to install.

Note: when installing the front grips, keep in mind they will be tight fitting over the magazine tube. This insures stability.

Q: What is the adapter for on the Mossberg Forend Grip model?
A: Mossberg has made shotguns with two different forend lengths. The adapter allows the forend to fit on either one.

Q: What gauge shotguns will these fit?
A: These grips are for 12 gauge shotguns only.

SideSaddle FAQs

Q: Do I need a Six Shot or a Four Shot SideSaddle for my shotgun?
A: If your shotgun is equipped with a TacStar, Pachmayr, or a short defense type forend, the Six Shot SideSaddle will work. If you have a field grade forend that extends over the sides of the receiver, you will need a Four Shot SideSaddle to prevent interference with the forend.

Q: Is the Six Shot SideSaddle available in Camo?
A: No, these are available only in black.

Q: Are SideSaddles available in both 12 or 20 ga.?
A: Some 12 and 20 ga. models are available. Sorry, no 16, 28 or 410 models are available at this time.

Q: Is any adhesive recommended for installation?
A: We recommend the use of Loctite 242 on the tips of the screws. This is not a permanent glue and will allow the gun the be taken down when needed.

Q: What is the length & width?
A: The width is 1", the length is 5 ½’ total, this is adjustable.

Q: Will this attach to my gun with existing equipment or do I have to get TacStar hardware?
A: Your gun needs to be equipped with sling swivels to attach the TacSling. Swivels are not included with the sling. For best results, the swivels should not be more than approximately 24" apart.

Q: Where should the swivels be located?
A: For best results, we recommend the rear swivel be located on the top, and the front swivel located on the side of the shotgun.
